Imagine Dragons weren't able to best Robin Thicke, but their hit "Radioactive" still burned strong this summer. The Las Vegas rockers' single finishes at number two on "Billboard's" Songs of the Summer chart behind Thicke's ubiquitous smash "Blurred Lines."
"Radioactive" earned the runner-up title by staying in the Billboard Hot 100 top ten all summer long and holding on to the top spot on the Hot Rock Songs chart for a record 23 weeks. It's now the highest-placing rock song on the summer chart since Matchbox Twenty claimed the number one slot with "Bent" in 2000.
Meanwhile, Daft Punk's comeback hit "Get Lucky" comes in at number three on the Songs of the Summer tally. The song spent five weeks at number two, but never managed to get past "Blurred Lines" to give the French DJ duo the first chart-topping single of their career.
